About The Owner With annual land transactions of $20,000,000, Lee is a true land specialist in the greater Houston area. Lee's focus is primarily on either raw land for development or investment or improved real estate for redevelopment. In addition to negotiating skills, Lee has extensive market knowledge regarding land values, utilities, drainage, floodplains, housing trends and all aspects of development (including the formation of a Municipal Utility District). After leading (Sr. Vice President) the Land Division with the Henry S. Miller Company, Lee went on to form the first-ever Land Services Division with the Staubach Company in Houston where he served as Sr. Vice President and Division Head. In addition to the experience that comes from a leader of the land divisions of two of the most respected brokerage companies in Texas, Lee also brings skills from the development side. As a principal with Tejas Tierra Developers, Lee has the knowledge and experience relating to the complexities of development and thus is a valuable asset in terms of assisting Buyers with the feasibility of land. Being an active developer has allowed Lee to foster relationships with third party companies such as engineers, attorneys, contractors, land planners, title companies, lenders, utility districts and production home-builders which are critical to the purchase, feasibility, sale and development of land. Lee is a member of ULI (Urban Land Institute), CCIM Candidate (Certified Commercial Investment Member), GHBA (Greater Houston Builders Association) and the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders). Lee is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and holds an active Texas Brokers License. |
